Trim guide for X-102

This trimguide for the X-102 is based on personal experiences, and how I would trim the boat under various conditions. Trimming sail and boat is individual for each boat, and based on the number of crew members on-board. The X-102 is a quite widebody boat designed for having 5-6 people hanging on the side to press the boat down and sail upright.

If you have suggestions for changes please send email to skipper(at)x-102.dk with you feedback.

One of the key aspects of trimming the boat for speed is the ability to flatten the sail, at higher windspeeds. if your sails are too hollow you will be forced to reef earlier compared to a boat with new sails.
